C+P Möbelsysteme wins two awards at a time in Dubai
German manufacturer celebrates double success at INDEX trade show in the Middle East
That the novel C+P climate wall received the Product Design Award at last year's INDEX trade show in Dubai was already a tremendous success. But this year the furniture experts based in Breidenbach, Germany have gone one better and received two awards at one blow. The prizes were awarded to the high-tech furniture which is not available anywhere in the world except at C+P.
With "integrated media technology", the furniture manufacturer C+P has made its mark on the market in recent years. As the first European manufacturer, they integrated wireless charging modules with the international "Qi" standard in 2010 in serial products. This competence in the professional furniture segment was continuously developed further – the company was clearly on the right track. IKEA, Europe's most famous furniture manufacturer, has now also adopted the same standard as C+P.
At this year's INDEX trade show, C+P's Cegano Meeting introduced a range that can meet a variety of demands for smart and efficient conferences – just like the latest Cegano SmartTable generation that works without cables. The basic situation: Multiple participants meet to view documents, images, or videos together on a screen. Each person has their own end device that they want to use to show their files. Until now this meant: lots of cables and searching for the right source via the TV remote. The Cegano SmartTable, however, is a table and intelligent device manager in one. All it needs is a power connection; everything else works completely without cables in all current standards.
The SonicWall Smart, a mobile stand-up wall with an integrated monitor, is a suitable output medium for the table. To interact wirelessly with the Cegano SmartTable, it also merely needs a power connection. As a special highlight, these walls are even shown in a curved version with the latest Curved TVs up to 78".As you can see: Intelligent technology, good furniture design, and elegant curves can indeed go well together.
So it comes as no surprise that C+P registered both products for the Product Design Award at the trade show. For not only pure design, but also functionality and innovative technology are what matters here. That both registrations were so successful thrills Sales and Marketing Manager Tobias Walter: "In no time we have evolved into a technology leader in the furnishing industry nationally as well as internationally.
We have dared to advance into areas which go far beyond furnishing, for example with our climate wall, which won an award last year." The company will continue this course consistently with "smart" furniture and intelligent technology, says Walter. The double award should certainly give the German company a boost in the region. After all, C+P has been operating in Dubai with its own sales company and showroom in the renowned Jumeirah Lake Towers for some time now.
There is not much time for celebrating, however. Just back from Dubai, the C+P managers will shortly be heading to the United States – to the largest U.S. office trade show NeoCon in Chicago, where C+P also operates its own sales company and a showroom.
