The bath paradise

Erding thermal bath is one of Europe’s largest and most varied bath complexes.

In an exotic ambience, visitors can expect an experience that is one of a kind. On an area of 145,000 m2, you can seek out quiet and relaxation or opt for action and fun in Europe’s largest waterslide park (Galaxy Erding).

Beneficial for body and soul

Exclusive relaxation opportunities, such as the spa complex, the sauna paradise (rated five pearls), and the diverse wellness offers are perfect for enjoyment and rejuvenation.

The water of the thermal bath comes from a state-recognized mineral spring, under a glass pyramid directly in the spa garden. In addition to its recuperative effect, the water also supports health. A visit to the Erding thermal bath is an experience for the whole family and is beneficial for body and soul.

The task

The color and spatial concept chosen by the owner and investor gives the entire facility a feel of both relaxation and exhilaration. Even in the changing room, visitors enter an atmosphere of well-being with extraordinary colors and materials.

The lockers with the wood decor “ice birch honey” and glossy surfaces are combined with high-quality stone-clad sub-frames. The decor (Macubas) and the lines of the changing cubicles provide a delightful contrast to the locker design. Their bow-shaped arrangement produces sweeping lines that, combined with the suspended design, gives the elements a special lightness and elegance.

The special requirements

To underpin the sense of lightness and transparency, a small number of column bases provide support in the changing rooms. Both design variants — the suspended sub-frames of the changing cubicles and the high-quality stone bases of the lockers — satisfy the investor’s demanding requirements for easy cleaning and hygiene.

The room’s load-bearing column bases are clad and integrated into the blocks. The interior fittings of the lockers were designed to allow two bags to fit easily in the top compartment so that the user can make optimum use of the space. The high technical requirements arising from this complex planning are met particularly well by C + P’s flexible Cambio locker system.

“The professional collaboration with the C + P team was impressive. Solutions were found quickly and easily that catered to the building contractor’s needs.” Jürgen Hoffmann, Construction manager, Erding thermal bath

The children’s area

The color concept of the children’s changing rooms is inspired by the cheerful colors of the Galaxy waterslide park. The lockers are arranged in a polygon formation, which provides a good overall view and makes orientation easier.

There are a total of four zones that beam with bright sunbeam yellow, velvety moss green, intense Atlantic blue, and warm signal red. A clad side wall with round mirror and integrated hairstyling station adds a harmonious finish to the rows of lockers. The changing cubicles have a special height so parents can keep an eye on their children.

The material mix of sturdy steel body and highly robust HPL decor fronts has once again proved to be particularly positive. The properties of the materials complement each other perfectly and the coloring options are unlimited. This makes for optimum functionality and stability — all with a thoroughly harmonious look.
